Custom Domain Kit
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Custom Domain Kit. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Service description
Custom Domain Kit provides software, APIs, an embedded setup interface, monitoring, webhooks, and related tools for connecting custom domains to a SaaS application.
The Service does not sell domains or sign in to a DNS provider on your behalf. You or your customer must control the relevant domain and add any required DNS records. Hosted domains use Custom Domain Kit's managed proxy path; the Service is not a general-purpose proxy.
2. Accounts and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting credentials and API secrets, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use only domains, origins, accounts, and credentials that you are authorized to control.
- Provide your end users with required notices and obtain any legally required permissions.
- Keep origins secure, available, and compliant with applicable law.
- Review DNS and routing changes before applying them and maintain a recovery path for your services.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; send spam; facilitate phishing, fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access; interfere with the Service; evade limits; probe systems without permission; or provide content or traffic that creates unreasonable security or operational risk. We may investigate, restrict, or suspend activity reasonably believed to violate these Terms.
5. Customer content and domain traffic
You retain ownership of information, configurations, domains, origins, and content you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, validate, secure, and otherwise operate that data to provide the Service.
You are responsible for your application, origin content, end-user relationships, and the legality of traffic routed through connected domains.
6. Fees and billing
Paid features, included usage, overage charges, billing periods, taxes, and renewal terms are shown on the pricing or checkout page when you subscribe. You authorize our payment provider to charge the applicable amounts.
Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law or stated at checkout, charges are non-refundable.
7. Testing Mode
Testing Mode is for evaluation and is subject to tighter limits. Provisioned resources for Testing Mode domains may be removed after the period shown in the Service, and the domain will need to be configured again. Do not rely on Testing Mode for production traffic.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication, DNS, and payment services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, changes, or acts outside our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, documentation, branding, and related materials. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account remains authorized. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation to you.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk, legal requirements, or conduct that threatens the Service or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful DNS or certificate activation, or that the Service will meet every requirement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or another appropriate channel. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
14. General terms
Applicable law governs these Terms. Before starting formal proceedings, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute through written notice. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Service.
